Leonard Traub opened Alberta Wilbert Vault in Edmonton (145 St & 118 Ave NW) – manufacturing burial vaults
Alberta Wilber Sales in 1967
Purchased first septic tank form – two piece 700 gal tank
1968 - AWS trucks delivering concrete blocks
Name changed to Alberta Wilbert Sales Ltd. • Purchased and moved onto 5 acres at the current location in Edmonton (169 St & 129 Ave NW) • Built 8000 sq ft plant (Plant #1)
1970 - AWS location focused on septic tanks view
Purchased first round form – 8 ft diameter tank

Built a 6000 sq ft addition to Plant #1 to accommodate round product

Purchased an additional 5 acres at the current location in Edmonton

Built block building in Edmonton we currently reside in – housed administration, Wilberta Casket and all burial vaults, septic tank sales and warehousing, the welding bay, the mechanics bay, and Hustler Manufacturing (pool tables)

Purchased 10 ton yard crane to handle the demand for larger product and to maximize efficiencies when loading customer’s and AWS trucks – still utilized today

Purchased additional 2.5 acres at the current location in Edmonton

Built 21,000 sq ft plant (Plant #2) to accommodate larger volumes, larger product, and to ensure no product was poured outside
